No Peace No Quiet, Inc., is governed by the state of California as per the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its subsequent amendments, as there are no federal requirements for businesses regarding data privacy. While nonprofits are currently exempt from the CCPA data privacy laws, there have been recent publications suggesting this may change in the near future. No Peace No Quiet, Inc., has published this data pivacy policy in advace of any possible requirements for nonprofit organizations under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If requirements not covered in this policy should become known after the publication date, No Peace No Quiet, Inc., will work with our compliance team to update our data privacy policy and notifiy the public of any changes as quickly as possible.

JotForm does automatically collect your IP address and it is visible to No Peace No Quiet, Inc. Zeffy.com collects your personal information and your credit card information for donation purposes. Only your name, address and method of payment ( i.e. credit card, ACH, or manaul is shown) is shared with No Peace No Quiet, Inc. Your credit card number is not shared with No Peace No Quiet, Inc.
The non-personal identifying information that supports our mission is used to create reports we provide to the public to drive change in the space for domestic violence and abuse victims. Unless otherwise stated, No Peace No Quiet, Inc., does NOT share personal identify information to third parties and No Peace No Quiet, Inc., never sells your information. Donations
No Peace No Quiet, Inc., started accepting donations on May 1, 2024, through Zeffy.com a nonprofit Peer to Peer (P2P) service that is free to use by verified nonprofit organizations. Zeffy.com is the only platform where No Peace No Quiet, Inc. is accepting donations. If you have been solicited to donate to our organization using a different service, please contact us with the details so we can report it to the FTC for fraud or you can submit a fraud report directly to FTC.gov. Sharing the link to Zeffy.com on Social Media platforms and through email is appreciated but is not requirment to recieved support.
The Misconduct Ticketing System (MTS)
No Peace No Quiet, Inc., uses the 3rd party service provider JotForm to manage the misconduct ticking system, No Peace No Quiet, Inc., does NOT collect end user personal identify information [an IP address alone is not necessarily considered PII] , we do collect the social media username of the person(s) who is reportedly harming victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse; we do NOT publicly release this information in the reports we provide to the public. We do provide the reported users name to the social media platforms and governing agencies where appropriate.
The Social Media Censorship of DV Survivors
No Peace No Quiet, Inc. uses the 3rd party service provider JotForm to manage the social media censorship of DV survivors form. The personal identify information No Peace No Quiet, Inc., collects is the end users social media username, which is provided to the social media platform to advocate on the end users behalf to help restore their account.
Request for Support Intervention
No Peace No Quiet, Inc. uses the 3rd party service provider JotForm to manage the request for support intervention form to collect information from the end user to act as an advocate on their behalf to contact the organizations they have identified on this form who have reportedly denied services to the end user that are funded through Government agencies and public donations to support victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. The following personal identity information is collected by No Peace No Quiet, Inc., to provide support name, phone number, email address, state, zip code and information about the organizations the end user has contacted for help. This information is used to work with both the end user and the organizations reported to help resolve a problem.
Social Media Access Request
No Peace No Quiet, Inc. uses the 3rd party service provider JotForm to manage the social media access request form to verify the end user is who they say they are. The personal identifying information No Peace No Quiet, Inc., collects is the end user name, email address, phone number and social media usernames.
Volunteer Program Intake Form
No Peace No Quiet, Inc. uses the 3rd party service provider JotForm to manage the volunteer program intake form to connect with people who wish to volunteer for our organization. The personal information No Peace No Quiet, Inc., collects is the end users name, email, and phone number.
Volunteer and Employee Background Checks
No Peace No Quiet, Inc., uses the 3rd party service provider Sterling Volunteers to process background checks. No Peace No Quiet, Inc., does not have access to the end user’s social security number or date of birth provided for the background checks. We do have access to your name and the information that is produced for this service.

No Peace No Quiet, Inc., on December 1, 2023 we updated the service provider to Jotform.com to collect the following personal identify information from the end user, name, email address, phone number and is sent to No Peace No Quiet, Inc., email address with Google.
Legal Basis
In the event of illegal activity or actions such as threats of violence, harassment, hacking , or other illegal actions from an end user against No Peace No Quiet, Inc., their officers, board members, employees or volunteers the end user’s personal identify information and information collected will be reported to the appropriate authorities as well as to our attorney’s for any possible litigation that may result from the end user’s actions.
In the event an end user files a complaint against No Peace No Quiet, Inc., with the California Attorney General’s Office, 3rd party businesses or other governing agencies the end user’s personal identifying information and any correspondence with the end user will be shared to respond to the complaint to these governing agnecies and 3rd party businesses. Complaints filed with the California Attorney General’s Office or other governing agencies may be subjected to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Data Security Measures
To help mitigate risk to No Peace No Quiet, Inc., and our end users personal identify information we use 3rd party services with data encryption, and we perform regular data safety scans to look for malware and other security issues on our website. We also recommend using a VPN when accessing any website to further protect the end users information.
Safety, Security and Encryption
Our organization takes the safety our community very seriously as such we will protect our survivors healing journey on our platforms to the extent within our power. If anyone should disrupt that healing journey, we will ban your IP address from using our platform. If you try to ‘cloak’ your IP address to regain access, a federal judge has ruled that changing an IP address or using a proxy server to access a blocked Web site violates the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and we will bring awareness to the problem, publicly. As of 2/20/2020, IP addresses alone are not necessarily considered personal information.
Online SafetyPlease take the necessary steps to ensure your safety as much as possible. We suggested creating a new email address and using a phone number the abusive party(s) does not have access to as well as clearing your cash on your electronic devices after using any of our services and performing any searches for domestic violence and abuse support. Since November 1, 2021, our organization has been using JotForm services, a safe and secure website, to collect information. Our privacy policy has always directed the public to the various services we use including JotForm. The information below has been available on JotForm's website since 10/2015 and was updated in 5/2021.
JotForm Security and Encryption highlights: - Uses 256 bit SSL (the same level of protection used for online banking and ecommerce), and is PDI, GDPR, and HIPAA compliant.
- Specializes in PDF editing, security, and encryption. We will not tolerate trolling for a 'story' on our platform. The trauma victims and survivors of abuse endure should NEVER be exploited for entertainment purposes or for content clicks, likes and shares. We will not hesitate to report these actions to the authorities as well as make it a matter of public record.
- JotForm’s online forms are SSL encrypted by default. So, even if a form is embedded into a website that lacks httpS (and only has http), any data entered into the form fields is still encrypted.

Data Retention
No Peace No Quiet, Inc., retains the personal identifiable information we collect from our end users until we have resolved an issue. With respect to our volunteer intake form and background checks (application) California law requires business to keep all job applications of those who weren't hired for at least four years and to keep applications from those who are hired for the duration of employment plus four years. If a business faces a claim or litigation involving the applicant, business need to keep the application for the duration of the claim or litigation. In the state of California most statute of limitations for civil cases runs out in 4 years from the date of the event or incident. Once the time limit has been reached, the personal identifiable information No Peace No Quiet, Inc., collects will be removed from the systems we have control over.
