Public Statement from No Peace No Quiet, Inc.
The death of TikTok creator “Rizzi” was a preventable tragedy. She was harassed for over a year after speaking about her sexual assault, and the abuse escalated as she begged for help on TikTok Live. Viewers encouraged her to take her own life. TikTok failed to enforce its own bullying and harassment policies, and that failure cost a young woman her life. This isn’t an isolated incident. No Peace No Quiet has been tracking this conduct and reporting it to the appropriate authorities since 2021. Based on the data collected through our Misconduct Ticketing System, Survivors across social media report targeted abuse every day that include threats, doxxing, mob harassment and their abusers were contacted. Platforms promise safety, yet their systems consistently ignore reports until the harm becomes irreversible. No Peace No Quiet has submitted a follow-up letter to California Attorney General Rob Bonta urging immediate investigation into TikTok, Meta, and YouTube for violations of AB 587 and the protections under Government Code §§ 6208.1–6208.2 for domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking survivors. Copies of the letters sent to the California Attorney General can be found by clicking on these links: June 9, 2025 and December 17, 2025. Survivors deserve better than empty promises. They deserve platforms that enforce their rules, protect vulnerable users, and stop rewarding those who weaponize online spaces to hurt others. We will keep fighting for accountability. Every survivor deserves to be safe both online and off. — No Peace No Quiet, Inc.
White paper | Bridging the Gap: The Disconnect Between Federal Funding and Law Enforcement Training Under the STOP VAWA Program.
Despite more than $3.7 billion in federal grants distributed through the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) between 2018 and 2024, most states still fail to meet basic training requirements for law enforcement.
Our research at No Peace No Quiet® found that 94% of states are not in compliance with the STOP (Services, Training, Officers, Prosecutors) grant funding formula, which requires 25% of funds for law enforcement and 25% for prosecution. This lack of training directly affects how survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking are treated—and too often tips the justice scale in the perpetrator’s favor. The white paper highlights how weak oversight and inconsistent accountability distort DOJ crime data, undermine public trust, and leave survivors unprotected. It also outlines clear recommendations for advocates, allies, and legislators to close these gaps and ensure federal dollars deliver on their promise of safety and justice. Read the full report to learn how you can help demand accountability and reform.
