MISSION STATEMENT
No Peace No Quiet, Inc.is dedicated to creating safe spaces online for victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
Volunteer
Our Program
Survivors of domestic violence and abuse often were financially abused. In a lot of cases, their abusive partner prevented them from working and earning their own money, keeping them trapped in a relationship dependent on their abuser for their livelihood.
Our Volunteer Program is designed to help survivors of abuse to build up their resume so they can obtain a permanent paying job. Our program also helps survivors of abuse to gain a sense of pride and purpose through volunteering, they will obtain job skills to move forward and live a happy and productive life.
Most of our volunteer positions are temporary, until the survivor has obtained a permanent job and can pass their position onto the next person who needs to build up their resume. The average work time expected, your time is your own, we encourage you to manage your own time and volunteer when you are able.
Due to non-profit regulations we may need to have mandated quarterly or semi-annual meetings that should not last more than an hour either 4 times or 2 times per year, they will be held via zoom meeting.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please use this form to contact us and tell us a little bit about yourself and your interests. If you are a fit for our volunteer program, we will reach out to you to schedule an interview. We request all of our volunteers to pass a background check. We use Sterling Volunteers for background checks.
